... where LIFE SCIENCE
meets PHYSICS

Honorary memberships

In 2021, the Beutenberg Campus Jena established the conditions for awarding honorary memberships in accordance with its statutes.

At the beginning of May 2025, the members' meeting of the Beutenberg-Campus Jena e.V. decided to award Prof. Dr Hartmut Bartelt and Prof. Dr Wilhelm Boland the first two honorary memberships of the association.

This recognition is intended to honor the fact that the two honorary members have made a special contribution to the association and are committed to its goals of promoting research and science and giving the Beutenberg Campus a “sense of unity” under the guiding idea of “Life Science meets Physics”.
