Together for lunch service at Beutenberg Campus

With great regret we all had to accept the closure of the casino in the Abbe Center on Beutenberg last fall. More than 3,500 employees at the Beutenberg Campus have no longer been able to buy a daily lunch at an acceptable price. For us, an inviting science campus also includes a place for communication between the institutes where we can exchange ideas with scientific colleagues, cooperation partners and guests. Since last fall, we no longer have this meeting place.

In order to draw the attention of the responsible persons and institutions of the city of Jena to this situation and to insist on the reopening of a lunch service at our campus, we would like to hold a Action Day in the rooms of the disused casino.

            WHAT

We will meet for lunch together in the canteen. Everyone brings their own lunch!

With a letter and a collection of signatures, we would like to emphasize the desire for lunch service.

Please note: As the kitchen area cannot be used, there is no possibility to heat food or provide drinks. Cutlery etc. must also be brought along!
