Mit großem Bedauern mussten die Mitarbeiter:innen des Beutenberg Campus' im Herbst des letzten Jahres die Schließung des Casinos im Abbe-Zentrum am Beutenberg zur Kenntnis nehmen. Seitdem gibt es am Beutenberg Campus für mehr als 3.500 Mitarbeitende keine tägliche Mittagsversorgung zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Zudem gehört für uns zu einem einladenden Wissenschaftscampus auch ein Ort für die institutsübergreifende Kommunikation, an dem man sich mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen, Kooperationspartnern und Gästen austauschen kann. Diesen gemeinsamen Ort haben wir seit Herbst nicht mehr.

It is a great pleasure to announce the “Aging and Microbiome Meeting (AMC) 2024” – taking place in Jena, Germany - from October 22-23, 2024.

Registration is now open. A number of abstracts will be selected for short talks.

This conference will represent a new forum of discussion for current research findings and recent developments in basic research and clinical applications at the intersection between aging and microbiome research. We would ask you to forward the announcement to any interested colleagues and to encourage your students to register and to submit abstracts.
