Panel Discussion "DIVERSITY in PHYSICS and PHOTONICS"

Diversity is a topic that concerns us all - especially when it affects our daily work environment. Did you know, for example, that more diverse research teams are more creative, more productive and more successful, provided they are managed properly? But then why is cutting-edge research in photonics in particular still so undiverse? What are the experiences of minorities in this field, and how can we ensure more diversity in science?

These questions will be addressed in a Max Planck School of Photonics panel discussion on May 19 at 5 p.m. (German time). We have invited great international speakers and are looking forward to a lively exchange with you. So come in numbers to give the topic the attention it deserves!
